The Jobs Guarantee government scheme is now open across the UK. The programme is aimed at supporting 18–24-year-olds who have been claiming Universal Credit and looking for work for 18 months. Eligible young people will be offered a fully subsidised six-month paid job, alongside employability and in-work support.
The Department for Work and Pensions is now seeking organisations and employers to engage with the programme and help provide opportunities for young people locally.
