Mashamshire Community Office would like to invite you to our next Business Connections event. Pick up some marketing tips, discuss what you think Masham needs, and meet some fellow Masham business owners.

Marketing specialist, Susan Briggs, will outline some easy, low/no-cost marketing tips to promote your business in Autumn & Winter. She’ll include information on latest trends, some future opportunities, and how to get journalists to feature your business/the local area.
Following these discussions, there’ll be time for drinks/networking.

Funding Fundamentals, hosted by Community First Yorkshire and Mashamshire Community Office, is a free, informal workshop session designed to help local VCSE organisations and community groups strengthen funding applications, build valuable connections and learn directly from funders and funding experts.
It’s a great way to meet funders, gain insider tips and discover new funding opportunities all in one place.
What to expect:
- Network with other Mashamshire-based community groups
- Learn practical tips and insights through interactive sessions
- Explore funding resources and support available.
- About the interactive sessions:
- Hear from a local funder with their tips for applying
- Evidence the need for your project
- Navigating funding toolkits, resources and support.
Whether you’re new to fundraising or looking to strengthen future bids, this session offers practical support, useful connections and expert insight – all under one roof.
Please book up to 2 places per organisation. This session is for voluntary, community and social enterprise groups in the Mashamhsire area.
