Yorkshire’s thriving community of food and drink producers are being invited to step into the spotlight at an upcoming supplier showcase event designed to connect local talent with a leading regional retailer on Wednesday 15 April from 5:30pm.
Fodder, well known for its commitment to championing Yorkshire farm produce, has announced its next Supplier Open Call Night, an evening dedicated to discovering new, high-quality products from across the county. The event offers a unique platform for producers to present their goods directly to the Fodder team and explore potential retail opportunities.
Taking place in an informal and welcoming setting, the evening will give selected producers a ten-minute slot to pitch their products. Attendees will have the chance to share samples for tasting, discuss pricing and logistics, and highlight what makes their offering stand out in an increasingly competitive market.
The event is aimed at helping local businesses grow, providing a valuable opportunity to build relationships and potentially secure a place on Fodder’s shelves. Producers will also be able to present any awards, certifications, and operational details that support their offering.
Spaces are limited, and interested producers are encouraged to apply by 7th April, successful applicants will then be notified on 9th April and the event is free to attend on the 15th for those who have been selected. You will be expected to bring product samples, wholesale pricing information, allergen details, and any specific storage requirements.
With Yorkshire’s food and drink sector continuing to grow in both reputation and innovation, the event promises to be an exciting opportunity for local producers to gain exposure and take the next step in their business journey.
